I have been ordering online from WinterSilks for several years and have had no problems with shipment to Canada. WinterSilks website claims trouble-free shipment to Canada.

However, I have an order for 6 items presently sitting in my shopping basket but have been unable to check out. I get messages claiming they are experiencing technical difficulties and to try again later.

After more than a week of trying to check out I telephoned to place the order and talked to someone who wasn't exactly helpful and who said her computer didn't recognize my Canadian postal code so she would be unable to process my order. I'm not sure what is going on but I'm afraid there is no way of doing further business with WinterSilks either online or by phone.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I am in Canada also and in the past ordered successfully and liked their products. Yes, they even mailed out catalogues!

This last time I tried ordering, the order was confirmed, then a few days later got an email saying they do not ship to Canada, yet I keep getting emails from them promoting their items. Now I am waiting for my cc statement,hoping they havenโ€™t tried to take my money as well.

I have had a similar problem trying to get my order shipped. If they don't ship to Canada they should say that at the beginning of the process so I don't waste my time.

It appears Wintersilks is trying to go out of business.

I've been a customer for at least 10 years, spending between $500 and $1000 each year. I'm wearing three items I bought from Wintersilks right now.

Over the past few years Wintersilks has been on a steady decline.

The range of products has been reduced, the quality of the products has become either bad or terrible, customer service has become terrible, and their shipping policy and procedure is terrible or whatever is worse than terrible. Whoever owns Wintersilks has obviously given up and doesn't care.

If you want to buy something from Wintersilks do so at your own risk. You might not get it because the shipping service is terrible, but you'll still have to pay for it because the customer service is terrible. There's a good chance what you do get will be wrong, but you'll still have to pay for it because the customer service is terrible.

If you do get what you ordered, in the size you ordered, in the colour you ordered, the quality is so poor it'll shrink the 1st time you wash it, or stretch, or fall apart after just a few times wearing it.

If you work for Wintersilks, you better start looking for a new job because there is no way they will last much longer in the current international market place. To bad, it was a great store.
